About the new Progi Account

Why?

The Progi account is a unique and central account that will be used for all Progi products. So if you are using multiple products, you will not need to manage multiple accounts anymore.

In the long term, this will also allow for a better integration, by linking your access to various products.

This single identity is based on your own email address and a password of your choice, which will make it easier to memorize.

Targeted Users

All Progi products will be integrated gradually to the new account. The first users targeted are the ProgiSync and ProgiParts accounts for collision shops.

When?

Starting April XX, 2016, the Progi account will be mandatory for collision shops using ProgiSync and ProgiParts.

Instructions to complete the transition

Starting April XX, 2016

  1. Visit ProgiSync or ProgiParts for shops. The system will take you to the new Progi account sign in page.
  2. Create your Progi account. Use the "Create account" link. We only request your email and chosen password.
  3. You will be taken to the requested product.
  4. Sign in again using your old account. This will link your existing product account to your new Progi identity. You will only need to do this step once. Futur sign in will be done using the new Progi account.

Advance registration

Creating an account is easy, but you may prefer to do this step in advance (e.g. if you are in one of the situations below).

Simply visit login.progi.com and use the "Create account" link. On April XX, you can simply sign in to your new Progi account instead of going through the creation step. The rest of the process is the same.

Signing in directly at login.progi.com

If you have signed in directly at login.progi.com (not from a product page), you will access your Progi account's settings. Links are available to direct to you to the Progi product of your choice.

Specific Situations

Here are our recommentations to complete the transition in certain situations.

"I access multiple companies."

If you manage multiple companies (ex. MSO) and use multiple accounts to access each, good news! Your unique Progi account will be linked to these multiple companies. A link will allow you to switch from one to the other.

Our customer service will contact each user in this situation before April XX, to coordinate the transition. If needed, you can reach them at 1-855-310-6343.

On April XX, you will only need to link one of your existing accounts -- your multiple accounts will already have been linked together by one of our agents.

"We own many accounts, but we all use the same email address."

If you and your colleagues each own an account (e.g. atr1, atr3, atr4) but you all share the same email address, you have two options:

Option 1
Share the same account. You will only need to create a Progi account using the common email address, then link this account to one of your old product accounts (e.g. atr1).

Option 2
Obtain individual email addresses (issued by your company or acquired through a free service such as Gmail). Using their unique email, each of you can obtain a unique Progi account and link this account to their old product account.

"We all use the same account, but many email addresses are linked to it."

Although it will not be used to sign in anymore, settings for your old product account will still be valid. So if many email addresses were linked to your account (e.g. so that copies of certain communications would be sent to colleagues), these will still be listed and used.

The change only affects access to the online product. To complete the transition, you can then use the standard procedure (see the instructions above).
